About LEAP Franklin
Our Mission
Our nonprofit organization supports the sworn officers of the FPD in numerous ways, such as providing financial assistance during unexpected life events, purchasing additional needed equipment, and providing college scholarships to officers’ children.
Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs and services to support The Law Enforcement Assistance Partnership (LEAP), a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization that assists our Franklin, Tennessee Police Officers. We provide confidential assistance to officers in times of need…medical situations, injuries, life situations, etc.
Our Impact
We also provide college scholarships to officers’ children. Each year we take applications from their high school seniors and award them $500-$1,000 scholarships to help them with their college expenses. In 2022 we added the Jeff Carson Memorial Scholarship for $2,500. This scholarship is awarded to the student with the highest GPA.
